Anyway, she told me you had a blog so I came here to find you and tag you in a post that has come to me. At first, (honestly)it was because I am a new blogger and don't know many people to tag. But after reading this, I'm tagging you because you are freakin' hysterical! I only wish I didn't have to move to New Jersey to figure out you were here. I will send everyone I know here because I am still wiping tears away from laughter. Also, maybe a little terror tear because my third (and last) also falls into the "no sleep" category-for 2 and a half years now. So, I feel your pain.
Love, love, love this Blog!Cristie Ritz Kinghttp://www.thetravelingcircus.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8994805344423241694.post-77289661483219434192009-05-04T17:11:00.000-07:002009-05-04T17:11:00.000-07:00I can totally relate! It was probably a rough week on him, too.

I am really looking forward to when my husband can "take care" of our daughter during the nights. Right now I cherish our nighttime nursing so much (she's only 11 weeks old), but I can see in a year or so that, you know, MAYBE I want to sleep through a night ;)

It's great that in the morning you had more perspective. We have SUCH a tough job as parents, and the last thing we should be doing is beating up on ourselves -- yet it's often the first thing we do.Tatiana @ averygoodyear.nethttp://averygoodyear.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8994805344423241694.post-78981910430514902832009-05-03T17:58:00.000-07:002009-05-03T17:58:00.000-07:00Sleep deprivation has been my mommy tipping point ...Sleep deprivation has been my mommy tipping point every time. It's the thing that makes me crack - I guess that's why they use it to torture people because it works. The one thing I always try to keep in perspective at moments like that (and during the stomach flu) is my mantra "this too shall pass" One day, you will sleep again - in the meantime take naps if you can or trade off with your sweet hubby like when the baby was a new baby. Good luck. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has mental breakdown's during the rough patches of parenting-- I think you would have to be a robot not to!pink and green mama MaryLeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961907935822653414noreply@blogger.com
